It looks as though (maybe for once in her life) Taylor Swift got snubbed.
It was rumored that Taylor had been offered the role of Eponine in Les Miserables, but in the end it's British actress Samantha Barks that landed the part.
According to BroadwayWorld.com, Samantha tweeted her excitement about the news,
"Words cannot express how much I appreciate all the amazing support I have received from everyone! I haven't stopped smiling!!"
Among other big Hollywood names Samantha beat out: Lea Michele, Scarlett Johansson and Evan Rachel Wood.
Congrats to her!
As for Taylor, well, you can't win them all. Maybe Kanye had something to do with it...
