Ashton Kutcher made like Jon Hamm and has pissed off some in the country music world.
At the Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday night, Kuther was presenting Female Vocalist of the Year award while wearing a ten-gallon hat and over-the-top county western garb while singing George Strait's, I Cross My Heart.
The winner of that award was Miranda Lambert who took Kutcher to task over his presenting antics.
She tweeted on Monday:
"Was Ashton Kutcher making fun of country or is it just me? Watching it back now and I'm kinda wondering?"
Another country star Justin Moore tweeted:
"Seen Ashton kutcher at the acms tonight. What a douche! I don't care for people making a mockery of the way country artists' dress."
Kutcher even appeared at the after party for the awards show wearing the same outfit.
"People were just like 'why is he here?' - he has nothing to do with country," one attendee told Us "Nobody laughed at his dumb jokes, in fact he came off as rude. He didn't mingle."
So looks like Ashton might have to keep his day job, because his country career was about as successful as Jessica Simpson's -- than again, he didn't get booed off stage!
