Alex Rodriguez Opens Up About Cameron Diaz For The First Time Since Their Split

Alex Rodriguez is opening up for the first time about his ex-girlfriend Cameron Diaz.

A-Rod told The Insider as reported by Page Six:

“I don’t like talking about my relationships, but I will tell you about CD: She’s probably one of the greatest human beings I’ve ever met, and just an amazing light.”

So will he ever settle down and marry again?

“I’m not sure,” he says. “I think my new hero is George Clooney. He’s my new role model,” he says of Clooney. “I think he’s done it right.”

At least whoever "she" is, knows what she's getting into.

Cameron Diaz and Kate Hudson might have had similar taste in men, but both have moved on from their shared guys and are great friends.

The duo partied together and had fun at the Oscars' Vanity Fair party on Sunday night.

So the list of men they shared? Justin Timberlake and Alex Rodriguez.

So maybe there's a new saying in Hollywood, "Those that date the same guys, party together after."

We probably won't be seeing Justin and Alex hanging out together anytime soon.

"They broke up recently," a source close to the Yankee slugger, 36, confirms to Us Weekly.

The duo's low-profile love was marked by beach getaways and intense workouts together. So what got in the way? Their work ethic!

"She's very busy with her career," the source says of Bad Teacher actress Diaz, 39. "And he's had injuries and wants to focus on his game. They're dedicated professionals."

Because that wasn't the case with Kate Hudson when he dated her or any of the other Hollywood types for that matter!

Guess it's back to being a player on and now off the field again!

If you can’t go to the paparazzi, you bring them to you. What I find most interesting are the massive oil portraits of her hanging on her own walls. But then it occurred to me that if you really want a successful career as a fame whore, it really serves your brand to have your image on potholders, toilet seat covers, and such.



Us Weekly reported Yankee slugger Alex Rodriguez commissioned paintings of himself - as a centaur (half man/half horse) and they hang over his bed. Because what better way to show the lady in your life that you will never love anyone the way you can love yourself?

My favorite is the portrait of Donald Trump, which hangs in one of his homes. The tennis whites, the pursed lips, the dusty mauve sunset in the background, and the gold leaf frame all exemplify his true adoration for himself. I can only imagine he kisses it softly as he passes it each sixth Saturday. In fact I bet he speaks to his reflection too in a soft whisper too. "You are the only one who understands me."

Cameron Diaz & Alex Rodriguez Split, A-Rod Moves On Fast!

Here's a note in the news that actually happened last week but for some reason or another we found more important stuff to tell you about mainly because it seems Alex Rodriguez is done with another girl. This time it's actress Cameron Diaz on the chopping block but both can take credit for the ending of this one.

As Life & Style reported last week this relationship only lastest seven months which didn't even go the distance of A-Rod's romance with Kate Hudson.

"Cameron and A-Rod are no longer dating and have definitely parted ways," a source tells Life & Style. "He just doesn't like her anymore. That's honestly the reason they split."

Speculation of the breakup began when Cameron was seen leaving Morton's Club in London with a mystery man on Oct. 19, while A-Rod was playing in the biggest game of the season. Just days later, she was caught leaving LA's Bardot nightclub on Oct. 21 with Glee star Matthew Morrison. To add more fuel to the fire, A-Rod was seen partying in Las Vegas on Oct. 28 sans Cameron. "A-Rod got a table at Haze night and a huge group of Romanian models happened to be at the very next table," an eyewitness tells Life & Style. "A-Rod was chatting up a storm with the girls and spent the night hanging out with them." He showed up at the opening of the JW Marriott Marquis Miami last night once again without Cameron.

Ah yes, dam Romanian models... they'll do that every time. The article could have just said A-Rod in Vegas and we would have known the split took place. Good thing Tiger Woods wasn't in town.
