Brooke Mueller Pushing For Divorce From Charlie Sheen

After the Christmas Day Charlie Sheen assaulted his wife Brooke Mueller on vacation in Aspen, CO. What followed was Sheen being arrested and countless rehab sessions for both parties. Now, Brooke is pushing for a divorce from Charlie. This comes after each party said they wanted to "work things out."

Brooke left two rehab facilities within recent weeks and is doing rehab at home according to her lawyer -- the latest chapter in the bizarre saga of her drug and alcohol addiction that has been covered up by her reps.

As RadarOnline.com was first to report, Brooke is being treated for crack addiction and alcoholism. She has been in rehab more than five times over the years.

Sheen is also in rehab and before he went in he was visited at home by the Department of Children and Family Services. While his reps described that visit as routine (and an outgrowth of the Colorado domestic violence case) it still scared Charlie.

“Brooke wants out. She’s said it before and she’s saying it again right now,” a source close the situation told RadarOnline.com. “She’s worried though, because Charlie has a lot of dirt on her. Using drugs while raising children is obviously a horrible situation.”

Something tells us that the, "work it out" solution wasn't going to work. Over the years Sheen has had seven bad relationships with women including his ex-wife Denise Richards with whom he has two children.

Brooke Mueller Wants To "Work It Out" With Charlie Sheen

Looks like the alleged details that Charlie Sheen held a knife to wife Brooke Mueller during an altercation is not enough for her to want to separate from the Two and a Half Men actor.

As TMZ reports,

We've learned Brooke has hired famed criminal defense lawyer Yale Galanter, who represented OJ Simpson for years. Galanter tells TMZ Brooke did not recant the story she told cops on Christmas Day -- that Charlie allegedly held a knife to her throat and threatened to have her killed. But, Galanter says, Brooke did "minimize her story, like many wives in a similar situation do, when they realize their husband could go to jail."

Galanter tells TMZ he will file papers with the Aspen court this morning, asking the judge to allow Brooke and Charlie to resume contact with each other "so they can work on resolving the conflicts in their marriage." Galanter says Brooke and Charlie love each other very much, calling what happened on Xmas, "one bad night."

We have this funny feeling (not the same funny feeling we get when we watch Two and a Half Men) that this one won't be worked out. I mean how many women has Charlie Sheen been involved with? Perfect relationships just aren't in Charlie's cards.

Charlie Sheen Gets Into It With Wife Brooke Mueller, Gets Arrested

Charlie Sheen had a great holiday weekend... yelling at wife Brooke Mueller and then getting arrested. Can somebody pass the eggnog?

As RadarOnline reports,

One source familiar with the case told RadarOnline.com that Mueller told police Sheen struck and threatened her. Police believed Mueller and arrested

Sheen on two felony charges and one misdemeanor.

The restraining order means that husband and wife must stay apart and sources close to Mueller say that's fine with her. She was in Aspen to get away from Sheen as their marriage has deteriorated. She is now telling friends she will file for divorce.

So if she was in Aspen to get away, what was he doing there? Another developing story...

Brooke Mueller and Charlie Sheen's Son A Ma-Sheen

Charlie Sheen and wife Brooke Mueller gave birth just five weeks ago and the parents of twins open up to Extra about the middle name of son Bob.

Sheen had long suggested that he would give Ma as the middle name of son Bob, and sure enough he did.

“The middle name thing is not a joke. It’s on his birth certificate…It’s Bob Carlos, my real name, Bob Carlos Ma Sheen.”

Get it Ma Sheen (machine.) And if Bob grows up anything like dad, than his name will serve him well.
