For real? Was this a PR stunt? I mean come on??! Amanda Bynes is a pretty girl she shouldn't have to go to these lengths to get attention, but it seems only weeks after Tweeting that she was retiring from acting the What I Like About You actress has just "unretired"herself Tweeting,

i've unretired

And we're so happy she's back!

Amanda Bynes Retiring From Acting at 24

Say it isn't so. Just as the movie She's The Man aired on ABC Saturday night Amanda Bynes Tweeted that she was retiring from acting at the age of 24.

As she Tweeted,

I know 24 is a young age to retire but you heard it here first I've #retired

Bynes started acting at 10 and got her own series on Nickelodeon called The Amanda Show.

She continued to Tweet,

"If I don't love something anymore, I stop doing it. I don't love acting anymore, so I've stopped doing it."

Just a side note moments before she Tweeted to the world of her retirement, she also Tweeted about her love preference,

I like black men I'm very attracted to them just fyi

Ahh, yeah.

We will miss seeing Bynes, she was great opposite Jennie Garth in the sitcom, What I Like About You. AND of course, how could we forget that fact she topped Maxim magazine in February of 2010.

Bynes last acting gig will be in Easy A, a high school comedy due out in September.

Amanda Bynes Tops 'Maxim' in February 2010

Amanda Bynes is one of those Hollywood girls you could actually take home to mom and tell her you want to marry her and she would probably give you a hug... at least until she were to see the photos of the What I Like About You actress in the February issue of Maxim.

Bynes, who we all remember growing up as that girl from Nickelodeon isn't all about kids anymore, it's about marketing herself to men and the girlfriends of those men who read Maxim.

She tells Maxim,

"I'm honored! I had the best time on this shoot. I think every shot I did was sexy. Some people still see me as a kid, but I'm a 23-year-old woman now."

"My parents were like, "Does this mean you're gonna do sexy movies now?" I said, "Well, if they're done the right way, then maybe!" I mean, I'm not gonna do porn, but if it's a Leonardo DiCaprio movie or whatever..."

Leonardo DiCaprio does "sexy movies?" Oh please, that was so Titanic. It's all about Robert Pattinson now.

2009 Teen Choice Awards Roundup

We hate to spoil things, but it's not like everyone else isn't already talking about the Teen Choice Awards that taped last night in Los Angeles and will air tonight at 8PM ET/PT on FOX.

Last night was the premiere of 17 Again in Los Angeles and as always a star studded red carpet filled with hotties from Vanessa Hudgens to Amanda Bynes were all smiles and short dresses.

Hudgens BF Zac Efron stars in the new flick where he plays a young version of Matthew Perry's character who as a 30 something falls into a river and emerges as a teen.

We haven't seen the film yet but one can only assume it's a ripoff of Big.

Different dresses, same premiere; so we want to know, who took the firecracker award for the night?

While Paris Hilton and Doug Reinhardt spent last weekend smoothing and exchanging Valentines Reinhardt's ex Amanda Bynes took to the runway in New York for the Heart Truth Red Dress Collection on Friday, wearing this garter belt accompanied type outfit. She shined and smiled and didn't miss a step.

New Super Single and Sexy Amanda Bynes Tops Cosmopolitan in February

Amanda Bynes fame may not be as hot right now as, say, Hayden Panettiere although to us they often represent the same Hollywood image as young, pretty, innocent, and all around great gal... a girl you would want to call your girlfriend. That's why it's hard to believe this 22 year-old Hairspray hottie is newly single, and despise the thought of getting married telling Cosmo,

“I love people who have goals,” she says. “Somebody who’s passionate about life and does their own thing.” Those are the qualities she says she tends to find in older guys: “A lot of them have dated enough to know what they want. Young guys want to sow their oats.” And while she’s dated actors in the past, Amanda, who’s currently single, has been steering clear of them lately. “Obviously, Chace Crawford is gorgeous, but I wouldn’t want to date him,” she says. “He’s too pretty. Maybe he’s a very smart guy and maybe he’s my soul mate [laughs], but that’s not the type I go for.”

Such strong opinions about what she does and does not seek in a boyfriend come from learning the hard way. One cheating ex, an actor whom she declines to name, “ended up breaking my heart,” she says. So much so that after the split, she moved back in with her parents for two months. “I was so hurt,” she admits. “I’m a confident person, but it killed me.”

But her heart is in her career and her next role will be bold saying,

“I’d love to do something that would shock people, something that’s against type. I feel like I’m starting fresh,” she says, a smile spreading across her lips. “I feel like people don’t know yet what I can really do.”

When questioned what her best feature is,

“My favorite part of my body is my smile. I have my mom’s.”
