Kelly Clarkson has a new beau, and even more, he happens to be Reba McEntire's stepson, Brandon Blackstock.
As posted on HuffPo, the Stonger singer has been dating the 35 year-old since late last year.
Kelly's single-hood has been in effect since 2006 when she split from singer Graham Colton. That led to speculations that she was a lesbian. She shot down any of those rumors soon after.
It looks as though ABC is wanting in on the singing competition show market and has hired Kelly Clarkson, Robin Thicke, Lionel Richie and Jennifer Nettles to front just that, a new singing competition show for ABC.
The new show titled, Duets is set to premiere this summer.
As reported by The Hollywood Reporter,
Instead of sitting on a judges' panel, these four superstars will head out across America to find two singers to be their duet partners. Each week, the celebrity and one of their charges will take the stage and perform in front of a live studio audience.
Kelly said in a press release about the show,
"The simple fact that I get to go out and find two people I believe in, sing with them every week and help them accomplish their dream is an amazing thing I can't wait to be a part of."
The winner will receive a recording contract with Hollywood Records.
