Dear Kate,

I need your advice.

I used to have this friend. Let’s call her Shmim Shmardashian. We grew up together. She always idolized me. I mean, most people do. We used to have such a blast together. We’d spend hours talking about my amazing hair. We’d sit in my closet for hours while I’d try on clothes and practice poses. I even taught her how to use foreign men for money and expensive presents. Then it seems like as soon as I sold my own sex video and started to film a reality show she started to get distant. Next thing I know she’s done her own video and her whole family got their own show, but on a cable channel. Like — can’t you find your own trashy way to become famous? I understand that people look up to me, but she was supposed to be my friend. I never slept with any of the guys she wanted to be with. You know why? Because I am a good friend (and I also found them all repulsive).

Now all of a sudden she is everywhere. Do you know what it is like to see your enemy’s face everywhere? I can’t get the same rates for showing up at a party to scream in a microphone in Vegas the way I used to. I am not getting the same pay to open a milkshake shack in the Middle East. My sex tape sales are down. I thought I could get married and that would help my image but then she beat me to it. I even thought about getting pregnant (even if my OBGYN says that it might be tricky) and then what do you know? She’s knocked up. CAN I GET A BREAK?

I feel like it would be really good for my career if I try to reach out. But apparently she’s still pissed because a reporter a few years ago asked me if I would want her butt. I said it was gross and that it reminded me of cottage cheese inside a trash bag. Is that mean?

But I miss having photographers follow me everywhere. I have my second assistant call TMZ and X17 every day and tell them where I am going and they never show up. I’ve tried to get into he Vanity Fair parties. I can’t even get an invite to animated movie premieres. Apparently the Kid’s Choice Awards think I am a bad influence. Do they not understand that there are tens of girls that admire my sense of fashion and starvation tricks? I had to BEG my aunts to get a spot on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. HELLO. My alchie aunt Kim is now more famous than me. Do you know how that feels?

So should I just pretend I care about her so I can use her the same way she used me? Maybe make lunch plans and tell the media she will be showing up? Maybe ride out a fake friendship until I can get myself on the cover of Life & Style? My mom says I should just make another video, but according to the health department this is not a safe way to get myself back in the press.

Ford Apologizes For Ad Featuring Gagged, Bound Paris Hilton & Kardashians (PHOTO)

Ford is apologizing for a leaked ad they ran featuring a cartoon charter drawing of Paris Hilton and the Kardashian sisters tied up and gagged in the trunk of a car.

The ad was created by the automaker’s India-based advertisement team, JWT India, in the ad the tagline reads: “Leave your worries behind with Figo's extra large boot.”

Ford's formal apology read:

"We deeply regret the publishing of posters that were distasteful and contrary to the standards of professionalism and decency within WPP Group. These were never intended for paid publication and should never have been created, let alone uploaded to the Internet.

We deeply regret this incident and agree with our agency partners that it should have never happened. The posters are contrary to the standards of professionalism and decency within Ford and our agency partners."

The ads were pulled soon after they were leaked.

One of the unspoken ways celebrities get extra cash is to make personal appearances. This is the bread and butter of the reality show circuit. Brandi Glanville, for example, admitted on Howard Stern yesterday that the first season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills she made $18,000 and this last season she made almost $140,000. Her castmates, however, made $250,000 each. This is why they make every effort to shill side projects like hair glue, extensions, eyelashes, plastic satchels, and wine. In addition night clubs will pay them a fee to show up, sit in a booth, make a toast, and get pictures taken on their step and repeat. Every time you see one of these reality stars at a club in Las Vegas know that they are getting paid to be there.

Kim Kardashian was paid an estimated $600,000 to appear at Tao on New Years Eve’s in 2011. The fee was part of a large, multi-event deal. Scott Disick commands a personal appearance fee of $100,000 to $250,000 per event. Stacy Keibler used to demand $10,000 for personal appearances, but according to party planners she now charges $25,000.

Radar Online is reporting Lindsay Lohan is being offered $200,000 to make an appearance in Dubai (and all travel expenses) to promote Mr. Pink’s Ginseng Energy Drink, though she is demanding $500,000.

Perhaps most astonishing is that Paris Hilton was paid a $100,000 personal appearance this weekend to celebrate her 32nd birthday at Peek nightclub at Harrah’s Casino in Lake Tahoe. Because I am sure your idea of a good time is paying a fee to stand in a crowd at a night club in Lake Tahoe watching her fall over on stage because she’s too wasted to stand on her own skeletal legs. Also at some point don’t you need to wrap up the night club birthday celebration? She’s been doing this for at least 12 years now. Why not mix it up with some drinks and dinner on Skid Row? What about a quiet night with friends in the county jail? Just change it up a bit?

Imagine if we got paid to show up places? Can’t say that it would be very interesting on my end. You could watch me sing Debbie Gibson’s Electric Youth in my maternity jeans.

Paris Hilton Apologizes For Negitive Homosexual Comments

Remember when Paris Hilton spoke bad about gay people in a cab in NYC during fashion week and the fact that it was secretly recorded?

Well now here is her official apology to GLAAD as posted on their website:

As anyone close to me knows, I always have been and always will be a huge supporter of the gay community. I am so sorry and so upset that I caused pain to my gay friends, fans and their families with the comments heard this morning. I was having this private conversation with a friend of mine who is gay and our conversation was in no way towards the entire gay community. It is the last thing that I would ever want to do and I cannot put into words how much I wish I could take back every word.

HIV/AIDS can hurt anyone, gay and straight, men and women. It's something I take very seriously and should not have been thrown around in conversation.Gay people are the strongest and most inspiring people I know. It is so wrong when people bully or put down others for being gay. No one should have to go through that. Again, I am so sorry from the bottom of my heart and I feel absolutely horrible. I hope that everyone can accept my apology and know that it is not who I am or how I feel in any way.

Paris Hilton Recorded Talking About Gays, “They’re disgusting… and, dude, most of them probably have AIDS.” (AUDIO)

Paris Hilton might be able to sympathise with Mitt Romney when it comes to being secretly recorded. We found out that there is some audio of Paris talking negatively about gay men.

While on a taxi ride in NYC during Fashion Week she was secretly recorded as calling gay men “disgusting” and says most of them “probably have AIDS". Nice.

While in the cab she tells her friend, a gay man,

“They’re disgusting… and, dude, most of them probably have AIDS.”

“I would be so scared if I was a gay guy… you’ll, like, die of AIDS."

As GossipCop reported, her rep has released a statement on her comments saying,

“Paris Hilton’s comments were to express that it is dangerous for anyone to have unprotected sex that could lead to a life threatening disease.”

“The conversation became heated, after a close gay friend told her in a cab ride, a story about a gay man who has AIDS and is knowingly having unprotected sex.”

“He also discussed a website that encourages random sex by gay men with strangers. As she was being shown the website her comments were in reference to those people promoting themselves on the site. The cab driver who recorded this, only provided a portion of the conversation.

“It was not her intent to make any derogatory comments about all gays. Paris Hilton is a huge supporter of the gay community and would never purposefully make any negative statements about anyone’s sexual orientation.”

Interesting... now she has some explaining to do, but after all it's Paris Hilton - there's no way she hates gays.

Paris Hilton Shows Off Her DJ Skills at the 'Pop Music Festival' (VIDEO)

Paris Hilton really, really needs to give up the whole being a musician dream. This (above) video just proves that money can't buy everything.

Paris took to the turn-tables over the weekend at the Pop Music Festival in Sao Paulo, Brazil. She was even able to blast out her new song with Afrojack called Last Night.
