AMC's "Mad Men" Partners with Banana Republic to Bring You Style Guide Video Blogs

Mad Men Costume Designer, Janie Bryant, and Banana Republic Creative Director, Simon Kneen, bring select Style Guide concepts to life on video blogs posted on AMCTV.com. This bonus content gives fans direct access to the stylish creatives that drive the fashion for both brands.

AMC and Banana Republic are also encoring a Casting Call, a co-sponsored contest where customers can enter to win a walk-on role for an upcoming Mad Men episode plus a $1,000 gift card from Banana Republic. With over 2 million votes tallied from last season’s campaign shoppers again are able to pick-up their “ticket” to enter the contest at any Banana Republic store in the U.S. and Canada between July 21st and August 11th.  Customers may also use the free casting call code found on the Style Guide to enter the Casting Call at madmencastingcall.amctv.com.  This code allows customers to upload photos of themselves wearing their best Mad Men look, male or female. The winner is to be selected by Mad Men creator Matthew Weiner.

Robert Pattinson, Inspiration for New Underwear Line

Of course it's only natural that a big Hollywood star and hottie to so many ladies would land his own underwear line. Robert Pattinson is the new inspiration behind Marks and Spencer's new slim-fit underwear.

As reported by Guardian,

Dubbed the R-Pant, the low-rise briefs and trunks are designed to be worn under skinny jeans and trousers, a look popularised by the likes of Russell Brand and Mark Ronson, two celebrities the chain cites as design influences.

If you will recall Kellan Lutz fronted Calvin Klein underwear ads.

As for the R-Patz inspired line will go on sale in September.

Much like her father, real estate isn't the only thing Ivanka Trump is making deals on. The heiress who already has a successful jewelry line is set to launch a handbag line. Trump Tweeted about the new business as posted on People,

“Just concluded a meeting with my handbag partners. The bags looking amazing! Ladies..you’ll love them! The line will be in stores next March!”

So will they be crazy expensive wondered one of Trump's Twitter followers?

Scarlett Johansson is spicing things up Med Men style in her latest spread for Spanish retailer Mango.

It seems everyone wants to channel Brigitte Bardot these days, just last month we showed you pics of Diane Kruger posing for Allure magazine and now Scarlett is working it, Brigitte Bardot-style.

Here she is sporting tousled hair, feline eyes and sultry stares for the newest Mango ads and she looks absolutely sensational.

For the new collection, Scarlett shows off her curves in 60s-style dresses and fuss-free silhouettes. The knee-length frocks are very Scarlett - especially with a belt cinched in at the waist.

Mad Men & Banana Republic Team Up For "Mad About Style" Campaign

AMC and Banana Republic are teaming up again for the "Mad About Style" campaign as season 5 of Mad Men is set to premiere this month. From July 21st through August 11th, "Mad Men" is promoted in every Banana Republic retail location, in more than 400 stores, throughout the U.S. and Canada. Banana Republic is creating a Style Guide featuring the versatility of stylish dressing - from 9-5 and dinner at 8, from the corner office to VIP lounge. The Guide features "Mad Men" characters and images alongside Banana Republic looks, and is available in-stores while supplies last.  Banana Republic windows also showcase mannequins dressed
in modern looks to wardrobe a stylish life, along with "Mad Men" imagery and season four tune-in details.

"The iconic style depicted in 'Mad Men' is unquestionably a character in the show, and the Banana Republic promotion is testament to the broad influence the series has had on the world of fashion design. The promotion leverages the strength of both brands to cross-promote the upcoming season and showcase two brands that share a strong passion for style," said Charlie Collier, president of AMC. "To have a promotion of this size and scope around a multiple season premiere underscores the strength of both brands."

Bruce Willis Launches Own Men's Fragrance Line

Want to smell like Bruce Willis? Well now you can. The Die Hard actor will be launching his very own men's fragrance line this summer. The first set from the new line due out on shelves Thursday appropriately named Bruce Willis eau de parfum, hair and body wash, deodorant spray and after-shave balm Willis told WWD of the new line,

“The development of my new fragrance was really a lot of fun, the products stand for individuality, uniqueness and sustainability.”

So what exactly will it smell like besides a sweaty Bruce Willis? A gray-hued juice, features notes of grapefruit, pepper and vetiver.
