Britney Spears, Designer of Clothes for Candies

Britney Spears has appeared in two different promotional campaigns for Candies as the brand's face, but now the songstress is taking it one step further launching her very own designed line for the clothier.

Spears told InStyle of her new line,

First, I met with the Candie’s designers and told them what my favorite styles are. Then, we sketched the items together. I loved it when I saw the samples for the first time.

On trends found in the line,

I used a lot of studs and lace, because I wanted to make the clothes cool and edgy yet girly. I also love jeans, so I had to make sure there were some great pairs in the collection. And I love jewelry so there are a lot of fun pieces. There are great necklaces and big earrings.

On her own style,

Britney Spears: My personal style is mix of comfortable and flirty. I love cute little dresses but I also love comfy sweaters and jeans.

You'll have to hurry if you want to own a piece -- the new line hits Kohl's stores shelves on Thursday, July 1st for a limited time.

Britney Spears' Bodyguard Quit Because She Came On To Him

Usually it's some crazy stalker fan who is harassing the celebrity, but not in this case. Britney Spears apparently sexually harassed one of her body guards making him quit. Ex-cop and now ex- bodyguard Fernando Flores, 28, claims Britney came on to him.

As The Sun reports,

A pal revealed yesterday: "She was always giving him the come on and he felt if he didn't reciprocate he could lose his job. He finally handed in his notice last week and is considering legal action."

The friend added: "Working for Britney is tough. She's a nightmare to deal with and her emotions are totally out of control.

"She runs round the house naked and yelling at staff.

"All her guards knew they could be removed if they looked at her the wrong way. Unfortunately for Fernando, she took a liking to him, so he was under more pressure than most. He wanted to be a good security guard and look after her but the situation became unbearable."

Stop laughing it gets better...

The last straw came when Britney's dad JAMIE - who is in legal control of her and can hire and fire staff - kicked off after she left her Los Angeles home without underwear.

Last month Jamie banned his daughter from going out without a bra and told her security team to enforce the rule. She was then pictured leaving a Hollywood restaurant without wearing knickers. The source revealed: "It was embarrassing to tell her to put on underwear. Some guys would do it but others were too ashamed.

Britney doesn't like to wear clothes, so what? Good thing it isn't an underwear line she has with Candies.

Maybe she just has a thing for her team of people. Didn't she just recently end a romantic relationship with her manager?

Britney Spears' Father Wants Her To Wear a Bra, Like All The Time

Wow, who knew? It seems that Britney Spears' father Jamie is upset with the way Britney dresses when she leaves the house. Hello Jr. High all over again!

See her father is taking issue with Brit not sporting a bra and thus showing the world her nipples. Sorry there was no Urban Dictionary terms to use to explain this one.

According to The Sun,

A pal revealed: "Jamie's control over Britney's life is incredible. He hates the pictures of her with her nipples all over the place so he has banned her from leaving the house without a bra.

"He wants her to put across the right impression.

"One security guard was told he is close to getting fired because he lets her go out without her bra.

"It was also Jamie who made her split with Jason.

"He likes Jason but their relationship was too intense and volatile. He feared it was sending her back to her old ways. He warned her: 'It's Jason or your children'."

Wow talk about strict. Jamie kinda sounds like Micheal Lohan wanting total control over his daughter. Look fire who you want, but in this case something tells us it's only a matter of time before we see Brit leaving a gas station with soda pop and munchies in hand, and "ya'll not caring what she all looks like." After all, it's partly what she's showing that got her all rich and famous in the first place. OK! DAD!

Britney Spears New Single, Being Single!

Britney Spears has done it again - that's break it off with another man. She and agent/boyfriend Jason Trawick called it quits a few weeks ago after a year of dating.

As E! News reports,

"They were fighting a lot and have not been getting along," the source says.

"They both just needed to take a break from each other," the source says. "It wasn't working out."

But don't worry the duo are still in business together. Trawick 38, will still represent Spears, 28, as her agent.

We're sure this will go smooth. For about as long as Britney was married to Jason Alexander!

Britney Spears Lookin' Great In New Ads For Candies!

Britney Spears is all about looking and feeling great this spring. The songstress took to the studio recently not to work on a new album but rather to promote the Spring 2010 line for Candies. This is her second line for the company sold exclusively at Khols. For the shoot Britney worked with famed photographers Annie Leibovitz, Mark Seliger and Terry Richardson.

In a statement about the Candies Spring 2010 line Spears said,

"Annie, Mark and Terry are three of the biggest photographers in the world -- I am honored to be working with them for my Candie’s Only at Kohl's ads," Spears said in a statement. "It was an amazing shoot, and I know my fans are going to love the cool images."

The campaign entitled: Britney Spears Through the Lens will debut with a four-page insert in Seventeen magazine, then a full campaign in many national womens' magazines and billboards.

Britney Spears' Conservatorship Continues

Britney Spears will stay daddy's little girl a bit longer. The pop princess' battle to sever ties with her dad were denied as a judge ruled to extend her conservatorship. Jamie Spears (Brit's dad) will receive $16,000 a month for it.

As TMZ reports,

The judge didn't specify how long the conservatorship will remain in place, but lawyers involved in the matter tell TMZ they expect it to last somewhere between six months to a year.

TMZ has learned action may be taken next month to begin the process of bringing the conservatorship to an end -- at least part of it.

Britney Spears Wants To End Conservatorship

Now that the tour know as Circus is over it's time for Britney Spears to enter into another Circus in the courtroom. Brit's trying to end a conservatorship.

As TMZ reports,

We know there have been several lengthy meetings recently between the lawyers and the court commissioner in the commissioner's chambers.

Jamie and the lawyers will not make the decision to end the conservatorship. They will weigh in, but the person with all the influence is the "capacity expert" -- a psychiatrist who was appointed by the court. The capacity expert will do a thorough evaluation and submit it to the commissioner.

We're told one of the fears Jamie has ... Sam Lutfi, a guy Jamie (Britney's father) thinks is still a threat to Britney if she allows him back in her life. He's got that right.

There are actually two conservatorships -- one over Britney, the person, and the other over Britney's business affairs. We're told the business conservatorship will likely continue. The issue on the table is whether to end the conservatorship over Britney, the person. Again, no decisions have been made, but it's all moving in that direction.

Sounds like Britney will have her hands full for awhile. In January she will start work on her seventh studio album.

Britney Spears To Start Work On New Studio Album In January

Britney Spears' Circus tour may have finally come to a close Sunday night in Australia, but the pop princess will get right back to work after the holidays.

Britney will return to the studio in January to begin work on her seventh studio album (yet to be named.) Britney's Circus album debuted a year ago at number one on the Billboard 200. Circus was her fifth such album to do so.

The release of her new album is expected for June of 2010.

Britney Spears' Fans In Australia Upset Over Lip-Synced Concert

Britney is back alright and just like she did in North America when storming off stage over the ventilation system, the pop princess is stirring the pot down under. This time Australian fans are upset Brit took cues from Ashlee Simpson and lip-synced her show on Friday night.

As the Daily Telegraph reports,

Many claimed her show was not worth the $200 they had paid.

The lip-synch controversy has dogged Spears since she arrived in Australia and made headlines around the world, including on US TV's CNN.

Spears mimed most of her songs on stage, singing only on ballads.

Among fans who walked out early was Amanda Hawlet, 22, who drove from home two hours away and spent almost $500 on a weekend to see Britney.

She left only half an hour into the action, angry at the miming.

"I want my money back or I want her to sing properly," she said.

"The ticket cost me $200 and she lip-synched the whole thing.

"It's cost me half a week's wage and you've got bills to pay, but you look forward to this concert, it's a night out - and what do you get? Nothing! It was a waste of $200 - I could have got four pairs of shoes for that."

Wow. Umm, maybe someone here stateside should have warned the Aussie fans that controversy and anything that could possibly go wrong at a concert usually goes wrong at a Britney concert. Look at the bright side. No crotch flash. No wig fell off. Success.

Britney Spears' Family Ready For Her To Marry Again

We're not sure if Britney Spears is thinking about getting married again anytime soon, but if you chatted up her mother you'd get a different impression. The Spears' love Brit's latest beau Jason Trawick.

As Us reports,

"Lynne said, 'He's the kind of man you would dream of your daughter marrying. The kids love him, and he's stable,'" a friend tells Us Weekly.

"Most everyone else abandoned her, but Jason refused to be completely cut out of Britney's life," says a source. "He's very protective of her."
