UPDATE: Kristen Bell Raises The $2 Million in 10 Hours to Make The 'Veronica Mars' Movie!

UPDATE: This really didn't take long at all. OK, just 10 hours for Kristen Bell to raise the needed funds to shoot a Veronica Mars movie. More percisly just 10 hours afte going public with her pitch for fans to help fund the project.

She tweeted her exciting news:

It's official, Kristen Bell and her hubby Dax Shepard are expecting their first child.

“They’re so excited - they’re both ecstatic,” a friend of the couple told the magazine. “Kristen had a little bit of morning sickness early on but she just started shooting the second season of ‘House of Lies’ and is feeling great now.”

They duo got engaged in 2009 and haven't set a specific date for their wedding. They want everyone to be able to tie the knot before they can. Both Bell and Shepard have been strong advocates for same-sex marriage.

Big Name Celebrities Turn Out For The Los Angeles Kings Stanley Cup Victory!

For the first time it wasn't the Lake show taking over Staples Center for a championship celebration -- rather the Los Angeles Kings won the Stanley Cup for the first time in the team's 45 year history!

This brought out several big name celebrities to their games during their playoff run including, Alexander Skarsgard, Kristen Bell, Channing Tatum, and Matthew Perry.

Perry told Us magazine:

"This is my happiest night as a sports fan,I have supported The Kings since the '70s. They did fantastic tonight. It feels great I am going to celebrate tonight!"

As for long-time Kings fan Alyssa Milano:

"This is amazing! Yes!"

And David Beckham:

"I am so pleased for The Kings tonight! It is unbelievable -- and great for the city of Los Angeles, too!"

The rest of the star power on hand Monday night at Staples included Zac Efron, Will Arnett, Ellen Page, Melanie Griffith, Dave Grohl, Eric Stonestreet, Tom Arnold, and James Gandolfini.

As for David Boreanaz:

"Now more kids will start playing ice hockey after this Stanley Cup win. I am a huge hockey fan, so, I'm really excited about this victory."

President Obama and Mitt Romney Take Part In 'CMT Music Awards' Opening (VIDEO)

President Obama and GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney took to the air-waves but rather in a political ad it was all in the good name of country music.

On Wednesday during the CMT Music Awards opening the President and the Republican presidential candidate had to weigh in on who should win the right to host the show between Kristen Bell or Toby Keith.

“This is one of the toughest decisions I’ve had to make since I’ve been in office,” said President Obama.

Romney says, “I thought the presidential election was a tough race but it’s nothing compared to the politics at the CMT Music Awards.”
