So where were Beyonce and Jay-Z on Sunday for the Grammys? There were in New York City, far away from Staples Center in Los Angeles where the Grammys were held.

Beyonce recently gave birth to their daughter Blue Ivy Carter.

We guess you could call this an early Valentine's night out!

Beyonce Gives Birth To Baby Girl, Ivy Blue Carter

Beyonce has finally given birth! The singer and hubby Jay-Z welcomed daughter Ivy Blue Carter into the world on Saturday night.

According to E! News the couple rented out the entire 4th floor of the Lenox Hill Hospital for $1.3 million.

Beyonce checked in using the alias “Ingrid Jackson."

Friends were responding to the good news on Twitter, Russell Simmons tweeted-

“congrats to my good friends Beyonce and Jay-Z.”

The hospital was on lock-down with tight security reported by the New York Daily News-

In an effort to keep images from leaking to the public, hospital workers placed tape over security cameras and are forcing employees to turn in cell phones when they arrive for their shifts, a source said.

Congrats to the happy parents and Ivy Blue.

Kim Kardashian may have reigned the news this year with her marriage and divorce, but Justin Bieber is the top celebrity according to search data released by Bing. The Biebs beat out Kim K for the overall most-searched celebrity, a spot she reigned last year, as well as last year’s top musician Lady Gaga who slipped to number 5 this year.

Bieber even beat out Katy Perry, who ruled the pop charts with five #1 singles from her Teenage Dream album. Perry ranked #2 on the Top Musicians list.
