"Twilight Saga: Eclipse" Dominates Forth of July Weekend At The Box Office

The Twilight Saga continues to dominate at the box office. The latest film Eclipse posted record numbers as an early release last week for its Tuesday midnight showing -- now the film was tops this Forth of July weekend at the box office earning $82.5 million. This now gives the film a total box office return of $175.3 million.

However, Eclipse's predecessor New Moon holds the title for a Twilight film opening weekend. When it opened it took in $178 million.

Ashley Greene & Kellan Lutz Sign Deal For "Breaking Dawn"

While Megan Fox is off Transformers 3, two big stars are coming back for Breaking Dawn, the final installment of the Twilight saga. It was reported last week that Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene were holding out for more money to complete Breaking Dawn which will be divided into two movies instead of one.

As E! News reports,

While they were reportedly playing hardball to the tune of $2 to $4 million each, both have settled, according to the Hollywood

Reporter, for just $1.25 million.

If "just" can in any way describe such a figure.

Fans and agents (actually, make that agent—both stars share the same dollar-signs-in-the-eyes rep) were sweating over the deal, as reports flew that one or both may be cut as a way of making a point about salary negotiations.

We're glad they did the right thing... You know for the fans... and of course without Twilight where would they be?!

Ashley Greene & Kellan Lutz Holding Out For More Money On "Breaking Dawn"

Breaking Dawn the last part in the Twilight series might be delayed in production a bit. Apparently Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz are playing the part of a Hills star instead, i.e. holding out for more money. 

As The Hollywood Reporter posted,

... the actors who play the Cullen kids (especially Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene) are trying to sink their teeth into bigger paydays that, at least at this point, the studio behind the billion-dollar franchise is unwilling to provide. "We may have a situation where one of them is thrown out on the street to make a point," says a source close to the dealmaking.

The issue is that Breaking Dawn will now be split into two films, which would make five total in the series. The actors only signed up for four originally.

Just one problem: The cast wasn't signed for a fifth movie. They're all huge stars now, with Lautner in particular running up his quote to the $7.5 million range, so another renegotiation commenced.

Wow $7.5 million and he's not even the lead. Who was Kellan Lutz before Twilight? Nice way to "give back to the fans" that made you who you are.

Now if he could hit a baseball maybe he would be worth that to the Yanks, but that's it.

Hey did you get that press release? Which press release? The one that said that Ashley Greene will be appearing in an ad for Lifewater in this year's Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue? Hells no! Yeah, it's true and the photo above proves such a release... haha. Oh and another thing, if you haven't noticed she threw out the bikini for body paint. Ashley Greene Tops Maxim in December

Ashley Greene a.k.a. Alice Cullen from Twilight fame tops the cover for the December issue of Maxim magazine.

In the new issue the Greene talks about the physical training she took part in for Eclipse and what's next.

On the physical training for Eclipse: “Yeah, I get to fight in Eclipse. My trainer is teaching me MMA right now. So. Cool. But I feel if I was in a real fight, I’d get my ass kicked...We’re just now moving up to more advanced stuff, toward being able to actually kick somebody’s ass. The problem is, I know tae kwon do, so I’m used to just sort of tapping for points when you kick, but MMA is a full knock-them-to-the ground follow-through.”

On what’s next: “I want to hit up James Bond. That would be awesome.”

Adrian Grenier and Ashley Greene may have just met on Friday, but ever since then the two have been inseparable.

As People reports,

Dancing close, surfing and snuggling: It sounds like a Hollywood movie, but it was real life for Ashley Greene and Adrian Grenier, who spent the weekend getting cozy in Santa Barbara, Calif.

The Twilight actress and the Entourage hunk met for the first time Friday during the welcome dinner at Oakley's "Learn to Ride" surf weekend – and were practically inseparable until Sunday, a source tells PEOPLE.

"[They] got super cozy all weekend. They were very cute," says the source. "They were hanging out nonstop and they only met Friday. They spent the whole time together – surfed together – everything."

With the popularity of the Twilight series, and the return of Season Six of Entourage this could be a powerful couple for Hollywood.
