Australian Actor Joel Edgerton to Play Tom Buchanan in 'The Great Gatsby'

The Great Gatsby is final! The part of Tom Buchanan has been selected and it's not Bradley Cooper, who in interviews has been lobbying for the part. According to Deadline, the winner is Australian actor Joel Edgerton.

So, who is Joel Edgerton?

He starred in the 2010 crime drama Animal Kingdom, and will next play an MMA fighter in Warrior.

The role of Tom Buchanan was originally suppose to be played by Ben Affleck, but he had to drop out due to other film commitments.
